In Hana Polívková’s work, you will find inspiration from nature and the cycle of life. You will sense fragility, softness, sentiment, and the transience of the moment.
I wish my customers could always look back through their jewellery at the moments in life they have lived. A mother will remember the days she held her children and cared for them with love when she looks at a locket. Couples will see, even after decades, the moment they said their vows to each other in their wedding rings. A grandmother will recall the times spent inseparably with her friend in the sparkle of her earrings. A woman will be reminded, whenever she looks at a ring bought for joy, that she is confident and happy in the world.
Hana Polívková graduated from the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Turnov, specialising in goldsmithing and jewellery making. She completed her studies in the Atelier S+M+L_XL – Metal and Jewellery programme at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. She then worked for four years at the jewellery studio Zorya.
Since 2017, she has been working exclusively on her jewellery brand Hana Polívková, and her jewellery has been showcased at more than 30 Czech and international exhibitions and wedding fairs, including the prestigious Munich Schmuck and Designblok.
